Discovery of Sri Lanka

Destinations Covered : Colombo – Habarana - Anuradapura - Polonnaruwa Kandy - Colombo
Colombo - Habarana
Greeting of guests along with complete assistance, on arrival at Colombo international airport. From there a picturesque drive down straight to Habarana, which is a very popular destination for being the most convenient base for excursions to the Ancient historical cities,located at minutes away from Habarana like Sigiriya/Dambulla (30 minutes), Polonnaruwa (45 minutes), Anuradhapura (60 minutes), Ritigala (10 minutes) and Minneriya National Park (15 minute)s. On reaching Habarana, you check in at your hotel, where after a brief leisure you have the option of going for the thrilling Elephant safari, which takes you through the gripping jungles of Habarana. The safari is followed by an overnight and comfortable Stay at your hotel.
Habarana (Excursion to Anuradapura)
In the morning, after breakfast one proceeds for an excursion to Anuradapura – the oldest city of Sri Lanka. This place is renowned for its historical monuments and splendid architectural specimens. As the day comes to an end, the guests head back to the hotel for a relaxing and rejuvenating overnight stay at the same.
Habarana (Excursion to Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa)
After breakfast, the guests are taken for a visit to the rock fortress of Sigiriya - a UNESCO world heritage site, which is later followed by a visit to the Polonnaruwa city, which was built during the 11th & 12th Centuries AD. The visits are followed by a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.
Habarana – Kandy
After breakfast, guests are driven down to Kandy- the cultural capital of Sri Lanka, which also includes a beautiful en-route visiting of the Spice Gardens in Matale. Later in the day, the guests are taken further down to reach Kandy, where they check in at their hotel. Last but not the least in the day is a visit to the Temple of the Tooth in the evening, also popularly known as the "DaladaMaligawa".
Kandy
Morning everyone is driven down for visiting Peradeniya, which is an exotic botanical garden built by Sinhala King. Later in the day one visits Pinnawela - an Elephant orphanage, which has now become an important tourist attraction in Srilanka. In the evening a visit to the craft centre, gem museum and a lapidary awaits the guests, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Departure
Morning after breakfast, checkout from your hotel and at appropriate time you will be transferred to Colombo international airport for your onward journey.
