Kashmir with Leh-Ladakh

Srinagar
Board a morning flight from Delhi to Srinagar. You will be welcomed at Srinagar airport and transferred straight to your Houseboat/Hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight in the houseboat/hotel.
Srinagar
After breakfast proceed to visit the Mughal Gardens, Chashmi-e Shahi, Nishat & Shalimar Bagh. In the afternoon enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight at the houseboat/hotel.
Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (112 Kms)
After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to Gulmarg - the most beautiful summer resort in Kashmir. It is popular for its highest golf course and skiing in winters. You can enjoy a pony ride and also enjoy a Gondola ride (cable car) to Khilanmarg (on direct payment basis). Return to the houseboat/hotel by evening for overnight stay.
Srinagar - Kargil (Via Sonmarg)
Morning after breakfast drive to Leh en-route visiting Sonmarg - one of the most beautiful places in Kashmir. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Later you will be transferred straight to Kargil to check-in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Kargil – Leh
After breakfast drive to Leh enroute visit the ancient Rock-cut Statue of Maitreya Buddha at Mulbekh village. Arrive Leh by evening and check-in at the hotel. Enable yourselves to acclimatize to the rarefied air at the high altitude as the remaining day will be at leisure. Lunch & dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Leh (Full day monasteries tour)
After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion, first visit Thiksey Monastery. It is better to visit the monastery early morning to see sunrise and to witness praying ceremony. Later visit Hemis Monastery which is one of the biggest monasteries in the world. While returning back to Leh visit Shey Palace. Packed lunch will be provided. Stay overnight at your hotel in Leh.
Leh
After breakfast drive to Khardung la, the highest motorable road in the world at 5600 meters. The views from the top of the pass are amazing. This road carries on to the Nubra Valley. Return to the hotel for hot lunch. After lunch we take you for a tour of Leh city visiting Sangkar, Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Leh – Fly to Delhi
After breakfast check out from your hotel and transfer to Leh airport for your onward journey.
