Delhi – Haridwar
Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be assisted and proceed straight to Haridwar by road. Upon reaching Haridwar, check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Visit the sacred temples around Haridwar as per your convenience. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Haridwar – Barkot
After breakfast, proceed to Barkot, en-route have lunch in Mussoorie. On arrival at Barkot, check in at your hotel. Barkot is a place of scenic beauty with apple orchards all around and the great Himalayan range. Stay overnight in Barkot.
Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
Early morning drive towards Jankichatti. On reaching Jankichatti, trek on foot to the Yamunotri temple, the holy temple of Goddess Yamuna situated on the bank of the river. Here, you may take a holy dip in the nearby tank filled by hot springs and as a common ritual. Trek back to Jankichatti and you will be transferred back to Barkot. Stay overnight in your hotel/camp.
Barkot – Harsil (by road)
After breakfast, proceed to Harsil, en-route visiting Kashi Vishwanath temple. Later drive further to reach Harshil and on arrival, check in at your hotel. Harsil is a very serene village located at a height of around 2620 mtr. It is also known for activities such as trekking and is a great place for adventure buffs.
Harsil – Gangotri –Maneri (by road)
After breakfast, proceed to Gangotri. On arrival, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganga, which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform pooja and in the afternoon, proceed back to Harsil for lunch. Later drive to reach Maneri and stay overnight.
Maneri – Guptakashi (by road)
After an early breakfast, proceed to Guptakashi. Guptakashi/Guptkashi is situated on the route to Kedarnath, 1319 metres above sea level. Guptkashi is an important religious town as it houses ancient temples like the Kashi Vishwanath temple. En-route, have lunch in Srinagar. Upon reaching Guptakashi, check in at your hotel and stay overnight.
Guptakashi – Kedarnath
After breakfast proceed to Gaurikund from where you will begin your trek to Kedarnath (14 kilometres/5 hours). The trek can be completed on foot or on a pony. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Kedarnath. Kedarnath is renowned for the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The place is also known for one of the most difficult pilgrimage treks in India. It presents a picturesque location, where one can feel the serenity of nature in its full bloom.
Kedarnath – Guptakashi
After breakfast in Kedarnath, proceed back to Gaurikund on foot (14 kilometres/5 hours). On arrival at Gaurikund, you will be transferred back to Guptakashi (32 kilometres/1 hour). Stay overnight in Guptakashi.
Guptakashi – Joshimath
Morning proceed to Joshimath via Chopta where you would be able to see high altitude meadows. Upon reaching Joshimath, visit Narsingh temple. Overnight stay in your hotel at Joshimath.
Joshimath – Badrinath – Joshimath
After an early breakfast, proceed to Badrinath. Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The town lies between Nar and Narayana mountain ranges and in the shadow of Nilkantha peak. Upon reaching Badrinath, visit the temple of Lord Vishnu. After your visit, proceed back to Joshimath (50 kilometres/1.5 hours). Stay overnight at your hotel.
Joshimath – Haridwar
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Haridwar. En-route have lunch in Srinagar. Later on arrival at Haridwar, check in at your hotel. Evening witness the Ganga Aarti ceremony and visit Har Ki Pauri. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Delhi departure
Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Delhi. At appropriate time you will be transferred to Delhi airport or railway station for your onward journey.
